live_help How does the sorting of the search results happen?
chat_bubble You have the possibility to sort search results by one of the following criteria:
- Default
In this sorting, an algorithm takes into account various factors, such as the age of the ad, number of photos, title, description, etc. Any commission we receive has no influence. However, users have the possibility to position an ad in front again by using the paid premium option "Bump Up Ad". Furthermore, there is the paid premium option "Top Ad", through which an advertisement is permanently displayed at the top of the results list for a certain period of time - possibly in rotation with other top listings. - Newest
The results are sorted in descending order based on the date of the advertisement. Here, the creation date or the push-up date (paid premium option "Bump Up Ad") of the ad is used. - Popularity
To assess what is actually popular with our users, an algorithm compares how users have reacted to search results in the past - for example, by clicking on them. The data for this is of course collected and evaluated anonymously. Any commission we receive has no influence. - Local offers first
The results are sorted in ascending order based on the distance of the item location specified in the advertisement to the location set by the user. This sorting is only available if the user has set a location. - Title ↑
