True to the motto "prevention is better than cure", this seminar is about what we can and should do as horse owners to prevent colic from occurring. On the other hand, it is also about being able to recognize colic at an early stage, because the earlier a problem, in this case colic, is recognized, the better it can be treated. Thus, this seminar rounds off 1st aid measures that each of us horse owners can apply.
Content of the seminar
Topics will be among others:
- How the anatomy and any blockages that may be present increase the likelihood of colic occurring.
- What interference foci are and how they are related to colic
- What the psyche of our horses has to do with colic
- How to feed horses according to their needs and nature in order to prevent colic.
- Which points should be taken into account when keeping horses in order to prevent colic
- How to recognize the first warning signs of colic
- 1st aid tips and measures to be taken in case of colic
