Aegidienberger mare, 4 gaited with lots of natural tölt similar to an Icelandic mare. Icelandic mare for leisure and sport - Bambita is a lovely and people-oriented 12 year old Aegidienberg mare. Born in 2012 at the Aegidienberg Gaited Horse Stud (GPZ), she is by Pescador von Aegidienberg x Boquita (by Soberbio). Bambita is 145 cm tall, 4 gaited with a lot of natural tölt, which is comfortable to sit and can be ridden from slow to brisk medium speed. Her tölt has a clear beat with good uprightness and high action. In addition to her diligent walk and ground covering trot, Bambi has a well jumped canter, which she can do on both hands. Bambi is a horse that does not need to be driven, that moves forward well, but only as quickly as her rider wishes. She can also be ridden on a loose rein at a walk. She is always easy in the hand and can be stopped at any time. A great horse for rides, alone or in a group. She is not bothered by dogs walking freely alongside the horse. She also knows cows, as well as tractors, trucks and trains. But that's not all. She also works enthusiastically in the riding arena with, for example, rideability and light working equitation trail. You can shine with her on the oval track, especially in multiple gaits, four gaits and tölt tests. So far I have competed with her in 2 gaited horse competitions, including the German Gaited Horse Championships, and have come 2nd or 3rd in all the competitions I have ridden her in. In Wickrath, Bambi became German runner-up of the Aegidienberg horses with me in 2023. As a young horse she was rated 8.08. She has not yet been bred. Bambi is easy to ride, but not a beginner's horse. Her rider should know the rider aids and have some tölt experience. She is lovely to handle but a little sensitive. She is easy to handle, can be loaded well, stands well on the mounting aid when mounted, knows how to stand in front of the café with other horses in the tie-up. Bambita is eczema-free. Bambi will only be sold in an open stable with horses, as she does not feel comfortable in a normal box in the long term. (Weekends in the box are ok for her.) This is also the reason why I am giving Bambi away with a heavy heart after one year. Unfortunately, I can't offer her an open stable (I only have a box with 5 hours of paddock in winter and 10 hours of pasture in summer, no possibility of converting. I only have one other horse). Bambi lived with the previous owner for 9 years in an open stable with a larger herd and felt very comfortable. Bambi's high-quality accessories (Hrimnir, Equest, Sportsfreund) are in very good condition and can be purchased in full or in part.
I would be delighted if this horse of my heart found a new suitable owner soon. That's why I'm selling Bambi below her value and for considerably less than I paid for her.
