Appaloosa mare - Our Appalloosa mare will be 5 years old in June. Since last summer she is ridden by us. At the beginning in the arena to practice first aids, then also in the cross-country. In the winter we were with her now and then in the riding hall in the dressage / pole training as well as in the dressage lessons. The video is from the club's Jump and Run. We have also used her in lessons with our lead children. She is well behaved in cross country, in Dressage work / gymnastics and also in the first jumping lessons she shows that she enjoys it. She wants to be challenged and encouraged. She would also be well suited for various western riding disciplines. With her basic training she can be trained in many different ways. Also as a trail horse or as a family horse I can imagine her well.
She is not suitable for pure beginners alone, she reacts sensitively to unsteady hands or an unsteady seat. Then she sometimes bucks.
With appropriate accompaniment and encouragement, however, she is also suitable for beginning riders who already have a steady hand.
I don't have the time to encourage her regularly, for the irregular little time I had for her she is already quite far under saddle. She is becoming softer on the aids and works with concentration. It is fun to try different things with her. She blossoms when someone regularly deals with her and becomes a loyal partner. I would like to find someone for her who can work her regularly, then she will be a great pony for versatile riding. A video of the club's internal Jump & Run as well as dressage work in the dressage saddle can be sent. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me by phone or WhatsApp. 0176 213 267 85
