Beautiful 17 year old mare - Lara is a beautiful mare born in 2007. Lara is a former western horse. She has been in my possession for 5 years and has never had any health problems. Lara is ridden by me for leisure dressage. She doesn't show her age at all, she is very motivated in her daily exercise. She learns very quickly and is easy to ride once you have gained her trust. Lara needs a firm, consistent rider with a steady hand. She can do a few advanced dressage lessons. She is always up for a bit of fun. She is regularly ridden by a child (9 years old). Lara is familiar with open stabling and box stabling. As she needs a lot of exercise and needs to be challenged a lot, I would like to find a place where she can be moved a lot and receive a lot of love. She is the perfect horse for advanced leisure riders to possibly get a taste of competition. She is currently shod at the front. She is not being sold as a school horse!!!
