The saddle is already older and from first hand. Cobra saddles are definitely known for their durability. I have always taken great care of them. Saddle tree all tip top.
The upholstery is really nice and soft. I have tried to show this on the pictures by pressing with my finger. The saddler has completely refurbished the saddle, added new girth straps and patched a small spot in the seat area (see photos). I had taken the saddle for my young horse, but unfortunately it has now muscled up so much that it will definitely not fit anymore.
It has a wide spinal canal and was reworked by the saddler so that it can be padded on site. I have never had anything altered in the chamber width itself. So it is still in its original condition.
The rolls can be adjusted variably to the rider's leg by means of Velcro. Oh, and in the course of time the leather has become so thin due to the use on both sides in the lower part of the saddle flap that it had rolled up and was simply cut straight by the saddler for the optics.
Apart from the two listed defects (patches in the seat area and wear in the lower saddle flap area) But the saddle has nothing else.
I always had the saddle on normally built horses with normal withers.
