FUR SADDLE CHRIST Size Pony Saddle Fur Christ Horse - My 29 year old Hanoverian gelding is now retired and therefore I would like to sell his hide saddle from Christ, color natural/black/natural. The saddle was only used with a saddle cloth underneath, but there are still small signs of wear. Even though it is pony size, it is sufficient for a large horse. My horse is 1.68 and has a very long back.
Information from the manufacturer: For riders up to and including size 38 (ladies) and size 50 (men), we recommend the size PONY hide saddle. Complete back length approx. 55 cm. Seat length: approx. 41 cm. The seat is made entirely of lambskin, as is the underside in the back area. Fur puffs on the sides provide additional support. A special gullet plate can be inserted into a pocket under the seat fur, which can be removed with a zipper. The gullet straps attached to the gullet plate allow the horse to be mounted using stirrups. Wool height of approx. 30 mm for optimum padding. The upper side is made from our special saddle cloth.
According to the manufacturer, the saddle is machine washable with a lambskin detergent and can be tumble dried.
