Lovely rideable Arabian mare with findings - Safiya has been with us for almost 2 years. She comes from Italy and was imported to us raw and wild. She first had to get used to living with humans. But in the meantime she has developed into a well-muscled, friendly and always interested and motivated mare. Safiya is always motivated no matter what you do with her. She always wants to please and never has bad intentions. She always tries to do what is asked of her and gives her best. Unfortunately, since we got her, she has an irregularity in her walk. Trot and canter are normal. She has no pain but it looks a bit strange. Due to the change in gait, the rest of the body is of course a bit more stressed and she has a slight lopsidedness. She has been x-rayed and examined, but an exact diagnosis cannot be made. We suspect an old injury in the pelvic area, which has healed somewhat displaced. Therefore we ride her adapted to her body. Since there is a lot of hard ground here and unfortunately we do not have a sandy arena, we are looking with heavy hearts for a suitable home for Safiya. As she loves to ride out and needs to be kept busy, I do not want to sell her as a sibling. She is a good riding horse and is used to the terrain. She goes also alone without problems in the area. Ideal would be a home with a sandy area where she can work on soft ground. Where you can also do ground work with her, maybe even do something in the paddock with children. And she can go off-road from time to time. She could also be used for breeding. She is registered as a broodmare and had her first foal last year. She is a very good mother and gave birth to a beautiful foal. If you are interested please feel free to contact me and I can give more detailed info, videos etc. We will only give her to a suitable place in good hands. Otherwise we will keep her, that would not be a problem either.
