The Competition series are extra-heavy weighted show blankets (the weight of the blanket is almost 3 kg), which are manufactured particularly elaborately. The blanket is much thicker and woven several times than the classic Mayatex show blankets, hence the higher price. The incredible color intensity of these blankets is difficult to convey on the pictures. With a size of 38 x 34 inches (approx. 96 x 86cm), the Blanket is only covered to a limited extent even by large saddles, so that you can see the wonderful colors very well.
This Blanket is hand woven from a material combination of 20% polyester (backing) and 80% pure New Zealand new wool.
