Pale 2 year old gelding - FEIF-ID: DE2021122967 Born: July 31, 2021 Mother: Lóa frá Eyri Sire: Fagur vom Schloßberg Sex: gelding Color: earth colored (dun? not tested)
Fraeknir's sire Fagur von Schloßberg is a bay son of Fannar frá Kvistum and thus a half-brother to Odinn vom Habichtswald. Fagur was tested as a five-year-old with a FIZO Elite score of 8.30 (Ext. 8.31, RE 8.30, including 8.5 for trot, character and willingness to go, form under the rider, head and topline and a 9 for canter and neck-withers-shoulder). Due to an injury, however, he never competed in sport.
Fraeknir's dam is a daughter of Pröstur frá Hvammi (FIZO 8.57) and an Oddur frá Selfossi daughter, who is also FIZO Elite tested.
Fraeknir was registered as an earth color (new name Braunisabell) at foal registration, but turned out to be a dun after the first coat change (not tested). He was awarded a prize by the SH/HH studbook at the foal evaluation.
Fraeknir currently shows both tölt and trot in free movement with a good gait separation, medium width and height of movement and a beautiful posture. As both parents are five gaited, Fraeknir should also have a passport.
Fraeknir is a bright, curious and interested 2-year-old who learns very quickly and wants to do everything right. With hectic people, however, he becomes insecure and tries to escape the situation. If he trusts his human, new situations are no problem for him after a short look.
Fraeknir will not become a giant, but will probably reach a final height of around 1.35m.
Therefore, "his" human should be the right height and weight for him, have the necessary calmness and be able to offer him security. Then Fraeknir will certainly be a dream partner for any leisure rider.
Asking price: 4.500,-€
With the right person, the price is negotiable within reasonable limits.
Fraeknir would be happy to stay here for further rearing.
All my horses are regularly presented to the farrier from the beginning, properly dewormed and vaccinated against tetanus and influenza. They grow up in a herd with other young horses and older aunts/uncles and are only sold in a sensible and species-appropriate environment.
