Shetty mix mare - General information about the mare
Attitude: -lives mud free in open stall with 24/7 hay and pasture access. -lives in a mixed herd with 4 other horses (3 mares, 1 gelding) -runs barefoot -with sufficient electricity fence safe
Health condition: -Chronic dust allergy/pollen allergy. -Hoof rotation February 2022 (X-rays available) -Targeted hoof care every 6 weeks -hoof shoes in front -vaccinated against tetanus/ influenza -regularly wormed -regular presentation osteopathy
Allergy treatment: - inhalation (brine chamber), equipulmingel -spring 3x cortisone injection for relief (in acute phase) -Paddock keeping/open stall keeping on sand, wood chips, meadow. -Box shavings → no straw
Treatment laminitis: -continuous hoof control/ treatment by Hoof care professional -Before hoof shoes from specialists on both sides. -in acute phase Chroyxin
Character: Susi has a stature of 107cm, is well built, runs barefoot and is very light on feed. In daily handling she needs a clear, confident leader. Susi is an intelligent pony and can quickly assess her counterpart in his appearance / behavior. In uncertain situations of the leader she uses this for herself quickly. She can be groomed without any problems, gives all 4 hooves without kicking out and stands nicely by the hoof groom. (see pictures) At the tether she stands calm and relaxed.
Susi likes to run on the sulky in all 3 gaits. She walks confidently in traffic. She likes to work from the ground and also on the lunge (canter can be improved). Long extended walks are possible both in company and alone. She already accompanied us to several trail rides with the sulky.
Susi is in poor health. She is chronically allergic to dust/pollen and had already developed laminitis in her career. (see documents).

She would be great in an allergy stable. Unfortunately, we can not offer her that with us. Also conceivable as a sibling.
The sale will take place via a proper horse purchase contract.
