Shire Horse mare Esmeralda - Thank you for your interest in our Shire Horse mare Esmeralda.
Esmeralda was born in July 2022 and can move immediately to a species-appropriate new home with horse company.
She has grown up in a herd and spends a lot of time with her playmates every day. Esmeralda is extremely people-oriented and sweet to handle, loves long cuddles and is always curious and playful.
Since she knows the daily contact with people exclusively in a positive sense, she is a young horse which meets every contact with a big leap of faith, no matter if human or animal. Dogs, cats, pigs, bulls, goats, birds, so far she found everything and everyone great. She is also familiar with large farm machinery and cars. In her small group of mares she likes to be the leader who bravely faces new things.
In the group she has so far got along well with every playmate, she shows herself well socialized and fits into the group without any problems.
Esmeralda is usually well behaved at the farrier (here she is sometimes more, sometimes less keen) and vet (always without problems), can be led well and has mastered the foal ABC. Since she was born on our farm and there was no (medical) need to transport her so far, it was not necessary to drive with the trailer. However, this could of course be practiced accordingly.
Of course she has all the necessary vaccinations so far and is dewormed regularly.
