Spirit, a 1.56 m tall 9-year-old Andalusian with a special livery, is looking for new hands due to a lack of time. As he is more of a baroque type, he also covers riders up to 1.80 m well despite his rather small size.
Spirit is very people-oriented, motivated and rideable - whether trail, orientation rides with riding games or dressage and circus lessons in the arena/indoor. He is quick-witted and learns new tasks very quickly with consistent aids.
I have owned him since he was one year old, trained him myself and he has never had any bad experiences - a first-hand dream partner, so to speak.
Despite his very even temperament, he is not a beginner's horse and, due to his age, needs a rider who can offer him security and consistent aids from the saddle. Ideally, you should have a relaxed and open seat and a light hand.
Nevertheless, he loves children and children love him. He likes to be groomed, brushed or plaited and likes to be the center of attention. As long as the dwarves are fearless and don't nip, you can also put them on with a lead rein and make children's eyes light up.
His training focuses on gymnastic dressage work, which provides a good and solid basis for many disciplines. He is fine on the aids, goes easily through the poll and was consistently broken in at the age of 3 ½ using the seat, weight and voice aids and worked on from then on.
Training level Dressage: lateral movements at walk and trot (croup walk, renvers, travers, pirouette, shoulder-in, leg yields on curved and straight lines), work in hand on the cavesson
Circular lessons: Compliments with assistance, free circling in all 3 basic gaits
Other: Extreme trail course experience (ground work), rides alone and in a group including riding games.
Due to a lack of time, he is currently only being worked selectively in the arena and is therefore being sold for less than he is worth.
Spirit is familiar with boxes and open stabling, is well socialized, compatible and of medium rank. He is currently in an open stable with geldings.
