The saddle is less than four years old and has not been used at all this year due to the poor muscular condition of my 27-year-old mare and my pregnancy. My mare has therefore finally retired from riding and no longer needs a saddle. Before that, however, she was ridden rather irregularly, as we often went for walks and did ground work. Nevertheless, I can say that I have always felt very comfortable in the saddle with my slim 1.76 m height. The seat is softly padded and don't be fooled by the 18 inch size. Someone around my height or even 10-15 cm shorter and of the same build will fit very well in the saddle and won't feel lost.
The nice thing about the saddle is that you can change the panels at any time or strap them on differently, depending on how it suits the horse. You don't necessarily need a saddler to do this if you are familiar with the subject. The panels are available in different designs, lengths and thicknesses. I currently have dressage panels in 44cm length.
I used the saddle with mono stirrups under the saddle flap, which I found comfortable and didn't scratch the saddle flap.
Thanks to the thick knee rolls, which are also Velcro, you not only have a good grip when riding dressage, but can also use it for cross-country riding.
The saddle lay on my rather slim mare, with a slightly elevated revocation.
Despite careful handling and care, there are of course minimal signs of wear. Comes with the original saddle cover, which is always on when not in use.
