Hanover gelding - For health reasons, I am looking for a nice home for this wonderful gelding. Last year I bought this dream horse, at least for me. It wasn't just his looks, but also his very human-oriented nature that made me melt away. According to VB, he was broken in at the age of 4/5 and was then put out to pasture for a few months. He then had an accident in the meadow, presumably (the breeder died) due to a branch during a storm, and has a kind of hollow in his back. He copes well with it and is pain-free. He can be ridden normally, but he needs to be well muscled through varied training (I think every horse should normally be) and he needs a saddle with a wide spinal canal. I wanted to go this way with him, but shortly before he came to me you broke my ribs. Despite the pain, I tried everything to do him justice, but it wasn't enough. I decided to give him to a stable where he would be well looked after. He muscled up well there and is on his way to being a riding horse again. He also had another veterinary and osteopathic check-up there. He is not yet a horse to ride straight away and a few things still need to be consolidated. He is very willing to learn and eager to learn and can be viewed at the Berit stable and can also be adopted if required. I hope that he finds a person who wants to go this way with this great horse.
