Heart horse looking for a new home - General information:
Santos is a charming 13-year-old Westphalian gelding with a height of 1.69m. He has no chronic illnesses or restrictions, he weighs approx. 615 kg, he has been trained at competition level in the meantime and otherwise he has fulfilled his role as a leisure horse very well. He has had all his vaccinations at regular intervals from the vet, as well as visits to the dentist, osteopath, saddler and farrier.
Now I'll try to give you a little of our time together.
Santos has been in my possession for about 5 years. He was then used by me in a variety of ways in jumping, dressage, cross-country and ground work. My focus was always on dressage, as I enjoyed it the most. He always tried to adopt a good attitude. He only had horseshoes at the front and only for the first few months, as I switched him to barehooves relatively quickly. The phase of being in good condition didn't last long. He generally likes to run on soft ground and tries to avoid stony paths. Otherwise, he is a very confident off-road horse and also enjoys nice rides and the variety. He has been stabled for most years, with a paddock box and access to winter and summer meadows. He has been in a small community in an open stable for a few months now. Santos is a socially intelligent horse, so far he has always proved himself at the front of a small herd. But always with respectful interaction with his pasture partners. He is also a very grateful horse, which makes working with him all the more enjoyable.
I would like to continue to have an open stable community for him and preferably a young lady who simply enjoys spending time with him and wants to create wonderful memories with him. I would like to support all of this through my involvement in the early days. I am interested in mistakes that could be avoided from the start, as well as a strong bond that can be achieved with my help. I would like to hand him over to other hands with all the accessories. The items have been adjusted to the sale price of the horse and any damage or wear and tear has been deducted.
The items to be handed over include a dressage saddle, a jumping saddle, lunging kit, saddle pads, bandages, care products etc.
I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the horse's condition before and during my time with him (mini injuries/no restrictions to date) in a personal meeting
