Large Welsh A gelding - We are giving away our Welsh A gelding.
This beautiful little guy will be 7 years old this year (born April 2018), is approx. 1.28m tall, has Dutch papers (including pedigree certificate).
He is road and cross-country safe, can be loaded by me alone, barehoof, was driven by the previous owner up to four-in-hand, only ridden with us, knows open stable, 24/7 pasture and also box. He wants to be kept busy every day, so I could well imagine him in a "proper" riding school. He would like an advanced and fair rider. He can't do much with unsure children, but he carries them well on every walk. The little man was very highly praised in short-term riding lessons.
But unfortunately he also has shortcomings: He needs a proper fence, small mobile electric fencing devices don't interest him (no breaking out with "house current"). He does not tolerate grain, at least not maize, which has caused him to scrub badly. He can't stand in small mixed herds as he claims the mares for himself. In my herd he stood together with 2 mares without any problems. Ideally, he should have an equally playful partner.
All in all, he is a great, active pony who wants to be challenged and encouraged. A test ride is of course possible. If required with complete accessories (e.g. Ghost saddle)
