Leisure horse, Dutch WB mare looking for her human - ! Further photos and videos can be sent on request, since Joy is still learning a lot, the ad is not always up to date, if Joy interests you, please contact us here on the ad or between 16-20h by phone or WhatsApp on 01578 225 4010, we look forward to hearing from you!
Joy is a 4-year-old, very people-oriented, but also fiery and insecure, tender young mare (Dutch warmblood) with a height of approx. 1.65 cm and very good gaits. In the herd she is high-ranking and impetuous, but never antisocial! Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with our other two (handicapped) horses, which is why we are forced to part with her. She loves to be groomed or otherwise kept busy for hours on end. That's why she now needs an experienced and fearless, but also loving owner who has a task for her. She is a total all-rounder and can do almost anything, she is always curious!
Due to her young age and a minor diagnosis, Joy is not allowed to be ridden for the next year, so she should not be used for competitive sport! She does not need medication, however, and she is also broken in. Ground work (sensible, no dull, endless lunging), walks etc. are currently possible and absolutely desirable! ! Joy has recently started going out in the field as a hand horse, she can also stay in the pasture on her own and go out in the field (but she is safer in groups, as is the case with every young horse...). !
We only sell Joy to proven good and loving hands who appreciate her not only as a leisure horse but also as a leisure partner! Under no circumstances will we sell her to riding schools, ambitious competition riders / youngsters or dealers, nor will we sell her into pure stabling! Joy is also not a beginner's horse due to her age and is by no means a weight carrier.
Joy runs barehoof and is absolutely problem-free when it comes to hoof trimming. ! Joy is now also happy to be loaded and does not mind the flex during hoof trimming at all!
She is kept in an open stable in winter and 24/7 summer pasture in summer, which she copes with very well. Her new home should also offer plenty of space and opportunities to go outside.
Joy can be trained with a wide range of accessories (halter, rope, bridle, various blankets...).
If you are interested in Joy and/or have any questions, please get in touch! Of course Joy can also be visited, grooming, walking etc. is of course possible and desired to see if the chemistry fits :).
