We're looking for someone to take care of our Leo at least twice a week. He is a 13 year old Welsh Cob and would love some extra attention.
You can take him for short walks, petting him, grooming him and of course cuddling him. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting a taste of stable air and where time with the horse and out in the fresh air is paramount. After we unfortunately had to cope with one or the other bad news from different vets in the last two years, we have made the decision not to ride him anymore and also to reduce the work from the ground to a minimum.
While the boys are still in the summer paddock for 24 hours (probably end of October), it would be great if you could muck out 2 carts a week. Once stall season starts, you'd have to muck out on your days. Both can be done quickly with a little practice.
Leo is in a nice leisure stable near Tangstedter Forst. There are many nice possibilities for walking (Tangstedt Forst, Wittmoor). For the really nasty rainy days we also have an indoor arena. Of course you can also clean in the dry. As far as the days are concerned, we are both (Isabell and Jojo) very flexible. How often and when you come, we can discuss personally.
About you: The most important thing is that you are reliable and stick to your agreements. It is important for us to emphasize that Leo should really not be under saddle anymore and that he should only be moved as much as his current condition allows.
