PRE gelding ANCCE papers - high percentage of YM military bloodline - Spanish macho is looking for a sensitive, loving and confident person.
After much consideration, I have decided to sell my gelding (born 13.03.2011) for personal and health reasons. He is a very fine horse who learns incredibly quickly and always wants to please. He works well when his human gives him a clear task and sets him boundaries, which he occasionally tests. But he is never angry! He has also never bucked under me! If the human is unclear, my gelding tries to take the lead. Once you have won him over, he is great fun and enthusiastic. He is not suitable for beginners, fearful and insecure people or for people who have no experience in ground work!
A horse trainer I know from TV was interested in him and thought he was great, but I wasn't ready to part with Ocre in 2022.
He has a high percentage of the military bloodline YM (see photo ANCCE Equidienpass)
Yeguada Millitär (YM) - the horses of the Spanish military:
The Yeguada Militar line is not really based on a separate bloodline, as in the past the Spanish military relied increasingly on old breeding lines such as Miura, Baones, Guerrero, Escalera etc., which are characterized by particularly high functionality, as well as calm, tractable temperaments. However, the Spanish State Stud developed a very important line of its own. Today, the blood of YM is "evident" in the offspring of Maluso and Agente, the two most important sires of the Spanish State Stud. Due to the strict selection criteria, horses with a high proportion of YM are therefore usually of significantly higher quality, functionality and more balanced character.
If the following applies to you, you could be his new partner: You are aware of your body language and can use it appropriately, you are not anxious, neither on the ground nor in the saddle and macho behavior leaves you unimpressed. You can convey confidence in "scary" situations, you have good body awareness when riding. I would like to find someone who rides according to classical principles and who is no stranger to classical work on the ground. But this is not a must! Ocre enjoys tasks in the arena, likes to go off-road and is really looking forward to being challenged and encouraged with exciting tasks.
My horse is chipped and vaccinated (tetanus, influenza, West Nile virus). His teeth were done regularly - most recently at the end of 2024. In summer 2022, he had to have hoof surgery at Seeburg Veterinary Clinic. He has no problems in this regard. More details in a personal conversation.
Ocre will only be sold in an open stable. He has been in both mixed and pure gelding herds. I would like to find him a person for life! PLACE before PRICE!!!
I bought Ocre in April 2018. The photos are current and from the last 7 years - unfortunately uploaded a bit mixed up in time.
If you are interested, please send me a message with your phone number. I will gladly call you back.
