Riding participation training Shetty - I am offering a (training) ride on my fully-grown Shetland pony mare, 12 years old and 96cm high. She is currently being trained and gently prepared on the ground, she loves walks, is used to the riding pad and various leading positions as well as lunging, we are currently practicing bridling and doing our first exercises on the long reins, we have also recently started working on the double lunge. She still needs to be broken in and accustomed to children. So far, she knows children from seeing them and can be led by them under the guidance and supervision of an adult and is really sweet, even if she is a little reserved. For further familiarization and training I am looking for a child/children/adolescent with riding experience - 5 years and older - Weight up to max. 30kg - Mastery of the basics of how to behave with a horse - Safe seat at the walk - able to follow simple instructions (e.g. take the reins, put on the right leg)
What I offer: - very sweet Shetty - Grass riding arena (she knows that she is not allowed to eat while working, and that works well) - Teaching the basics of handling ponies - Possibility for a real pony friendship
