Riding pony mix - Pony mix mare Stella, born 24.01.2015, 125cm, gray with one blue eye. Unfortunately we have to part with our pony, the chemistry between us is not right. Now to Stella: We bought her as a children's pony - unfortunately it turned out that she is not really happy with us. Initially, she was still doing well with grooming, going into the box or stable etc.. Unfortunately, things got worse and worse and she started to bitch - often biting. According to the previous owner, there were never any problems before, Stella was groomed and ridden by a 9-year-old and was always super well-behaved. We are therefore unable to explain the reason for this (vet, etc. have already been contacted, no health reasons). What we can say, however, is that Stella is great to ride, there have never been any problems with my daughter (8 years old) either, she goes in the arena and is also not shy when we ride her out. She gave birth to a foal in May, which has already been weaned. The mouse is not a beginner's pony! You can tell that she does have a pony head and that something doesn't suit her. I am currently in the process of feeding her and building up her muscles, as she arrived in a very thin and under-muscled condition (as can be seen from her general examination). She has been wormed, vaccinated and checked by a vet (no diseases, etc.). She is well-behaved at the farrier, the front is no problem anyway and the back depending on her condition on the day. I would prefer to place her in experienced hands as she is not a beginner's horse and I don't know 100% what she has experienced. I can very well imagine her as a future leisure pony or side pony if you invest the time, patience and experience in her. I would like to find a good place for her where she can be encouraged and where her fear can be taken away. I can send you more pictures or videos.
