Tinker gelding - ridden and driven - I am looking for a new home for my 16-year-old Tinker gelding. He has been with me for 14 years, I bought him from Schrankenschneiderhof when he was 2 years old.
He was gently broken in at the age of 5. We spent most of our time out in the countryside. Over hill and dale, he goes everywhere. We have also been on riding vacations and to the lake. He was broken in about 4 years ago by the national trainer Mr. C. Geiger. He has not been ridden since then, but has been ridden sporadically. Still needs routine here.
He is trained in ground work, enjoys liberty dressage and can do some circus lessons.
All in all, a great leisure horse.
However, he needs an experienced rider as he can typically be stubborn and likes to get his way. With good consistency and knowledge of horses, he is a great partner. Always unobtrusive in the herd, usually low in rank. Has been kept in an open stable all his life. He can certainly continue to be ridden, but currently needs some training to build him up as he has very little back muscle.
He is a horse that can be left standing for months, saddled or harnessed, and he does everything. He's never been ill, has good hooves, strong joints (he's more of an old, stocky type), no malleness. Osteopathic treatment, teeth done regularly. Stock height approx. 1.50m.
However, he is located in southern Sweden/ transport can be organized!
