Welsh A pony Children's pony Riding pony - We are selling our Welsh A gelding, he is 6 years old and 1.23m tall. Silver walks at a solid A level and can even canter outside. He knows how to go out in a group and on his own. He is also great at free jumping. Jumping has not been further developed under the rider. With his previous owner he was also ridden in two harnesses.
He is safe on the road, nice at the farrier and can be loaded by our seven-year-old daughter on her own. Silver knows how to be ridden elsewhere and already has competition experience in lead rein competitions. He is always well-behaved and easy to ride. He doesn't get hectic or excited. Our daughter rides him alone at walk, trot and canter on the arena and in the indoor arena.
He lives with us together with a Shetty and a Hanoverian mare in an open stable. open stable. Unfortunately, he is not very nice to his fellow horses when we feed him. However, we have gotten into the habit of taking him out of the herd when he is given concentrated feed. So nobody has any stress with this situation.
In the two years he has lived with us, he has never been ill. He wears shoes at the front as he is otherwise very sensitive in the field and has difficulty walking on stony ground.
Silver is not an emergency sale, we are only selling him because he is getting too small for our daughter and unfortunately we can't keep them all.
