Heart horse seeks best place - The 9-year-old gelding Quick Candy, also known to us as Candy or Candyman, is looking for a new home with a heavy heart due to an accident (which did not happen to Candy!).
Candy needs a lot of patience and activity. For certain reasons, he is currently not suitable for beginners, but if he has a solid basis of trust and security with his owner, he can be fun for everyone.
At the moment he doesn't trust his farrier, which is why he has been barehoofed for 4 months.
Candy knows open stables as well as boxes and paddocks, but he prefers to spend his everyday life in an open stable with other horses and lots of exercise. Candy tends to be higher up in the herd, but is always very friendly towards other horses, especially ponies and mares.
Candy is familiar with trail rides, ground work, double lungeing, walks, cross-country jumping, show jumping and bareback riding. He has been vaccinated, dewormed, is easy to handle and a safe riding partner.
He impresses the rider with his pleasant, comfortable gaits and his fearlessness at jumps and in the field. However, he does not like cows or sheep, even if he is stabled with them.
We are looking for a partner with patience and a strong hand who will spend a lot of time with him in ground work, cross-country or dressage! Not for sale as a show jumper due to his deep fetlock!
