Open stable: Place for 1 - 2 horses/ponies in the district of Pinneberg - From April 2023 I have a place (evtl.auch 2 - depends on the size of the ponies) in my small open stable in Halstenbek free.
About us: my Holstein mare is 27 and retired, but is still moderately moved (walks, light ground work). She has, in addition to me, 2 care participations, who take care of her two days a week. Her horse friend, a nice gelding (22), is ridden/worked daily.
They live in winter on a paddock partially paved with pavers and paddock slabs, the rest is sand. They eat hay 24/7 from a hay bell and drink water from 2 set up tubs and several tubs. They have the option of shelter in 1.5 huts, the other half hut serves as a tack and feed room where we have light and power and space for your tack locker. In the summer they are allowed 24/7 in the adjacent pasture which is portioned/staked and drink from 2 self waterers.
The open stable is located separately on a riding and boarding stable, whose hall and lungeing circle can be used for a fee. The riding area Klövensteen is within walking distance, a quick ride can be done in the nursery area of the 'Brander Hof'.
Your horse should be barefoot and friendly, and its age should be close to ours; pensioners are also welcome. Since our two horses are fed in the morning and in the evening, it would also be possible to feed your horse (alternately). We would like you to be open-minded and friendly, to do your share of stable duty (2 days per week and every 3 weeks on Sundays or - if you come with 2 horses: 3 days / all days by arrangement), to help put up hay bales, to take care of cleanliness and tidiness (cleaning tubs, sweeping off cobwebs ...), and, like us, to take care of the redwood in the summer. We find thinking and doing people great! Vacation and sickness replacement by us is a matter of course, for you too?
If you can imagine that you and your horse could feel comfortable with us, I look forward to hearing from you.
